How Small Businesses Can Capitalize On Content Marketing

It is important to figure out what marketing trends are here to stay and which will become a fad of the past. Here at Autumn Consulting we pride ourselves on knowing what trends are here to stay. Here are a couple trends impacting small to medium sized businesses:

  1. Sharable content and making your content social.  Having good content that you can share with your audience is great. Having good content that your audience can share with their audience that you can’t reach, even better!  When your customers are excited about what your business has to offer it is normal for many to want to share this with others. Creating content on social media streams is a trend that will continue to have a positive impact on businesses that utilize their outlets effectively. Also look for the growth of social plug-in tools such as “AddThis” which is a tool that once someone shares your content, it automatically creates a link back to your website.
  1. Keep your website with content that jumps off the page/and or interactive.  Many studies show that the average users do not spend more than 90 seconds on a single page and also many believe that in 2016 this number is going to decrease even more. Having content that a user can understand and either relate to or interpret quickly is going to be very important. A common myth in B2B marketing is this is not important because the user is much more familiar with what it is they are looking for. To a degree, B2B marketers are marketing towards a company, rather than an individual, it is still individuals of the company that make the purchasing decisions. Being able to relate to those individuals and quickly show how you can either fix or help solve a problem will go a long way.

At Autumn Consulting, we know how important it is to stay aware of trends in the marketing industry. Business strategies and trends are always changing and molding, and that is why it is important to identify what is important for a company’s success and how to capitalize on it.

Through Autumn Consulting’s collaborative style, we help our B2B clients increase their qualified prospects by zeroing in on the “right” marketing messages. These marketing messages directly support the sales force and increases their effectiveness. Let’s get started on a conversation for your business.
